Cloris He - Founder & CEO

My name is Cloris He, and I am a current junior at the Waldorf School of Garden City in Long Island, NY. At my school, I take up many leadership positions including class Co-President, founder of the debate team, and Vice President of the Asian Student Alliance. Some of my hobbies include participating in Model United Nations, debate, and playing sports for my school team! Most importantly, I founded this nonprofit organization in hopes to give back to our community and to make an impact on young kids going through a difficult phase of their life.

Ivy Li - Vice President

Ivy Li, a sophomore at Great Neck South, is extremely passionate about helping others in her community and advocating for her peers. Through her experiences volunteering with children, she hopes to bring a positive attitude and compassion to Bright Smile. During her free time, Ivy enjoys learning about history as well as writing in her journal.

Brooklyn Zhang - Head of International Operation

My name is Brooklyn Zhang, and I’m a junior at a high school in Shanghai, China. I like to play soccer, and I lead my school’s soccer team as captain. I’m also the vice president of the school’s Biology Club and have experience in participating several volunteering groups. I’m excited to join the team and make a difference!

Chuya Qiu - Director of Outreach

My name is Chuya Qiu and I am currently a student at a high school in BC, Canada. I have successfully taken on various leadership roles in school, such as a vice president and co-founder of a craft club, an event coordinator for a dessert club, and public relations for a club to supporting disadvantaged children. I bring exceptional social skills, which enable me to effectively communicate and connect with people. I single handedly organized two large workshops for the Fashion Club and Ayumi Desserts when the presidents were unavailable. I also demonstrated my marketing skills by attracting 46 people to a Fashion Club fundraiser and over 50 people to two workshops for my own club.

Preston

Hi! My name is Preston, and I’m a rising junior at Bronx Science. I enjoy playing volleyball, jumping as high as I can, spending most of my time on social media, playing with my dogs, and hanging out with my friends. Outside of my hobbies, I used to tutor and babysit children at my church, and I also really detest chemistry. I’m looking forward to helping the best I can!

Wilson - Director of Event Coordination

My name is Willson, and I’m currently a rising senior at Bronx Science. I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in various subjects, and I enjoy working with kids and helping them learn. Outside of academics, I’m involved in volleyball and I lead STRIDES, a tutoring initiative aimed at providing free educational support to younger students. In my free time, I like gaming, playing volleyball, and spending time outdoors. I'm excited to be part of the team!
